Knitting is an excellent way to serve others and I love this pattern!
The instructions are for a dishcloth but the pattern stitch would be the same if you want to make a baby blanket for new parents, a lap throw for someone in a nursing home or confined to a wheelchair, or a full size blanket for newlyweds or student going off to college. By the way...dishcloths are wonderful gifts!! They are by far the most requested item that I knit. Great for Secret Sister, stocking stuffers, Missionary wives, Ladies Retreat giveaways....the list goes on an on!
